Coronavirus Crisis: Our Response

When lockdown was announced, our teams around the world jumped into action to purchase emergency supplies to protect the vulnerable children and families that we support against the threat of COVID-19.

This was not as simple as popping to the supermarket, there was a huge amount of logistics and problem-solving involved to purchase and pack supplies, but we did it!

With your generous donations, we managed to deliver essential care packages to over 300 families in Ayensuako and to the local orphanage, who were in desperate need of assistance.

In Romania, some of our team relocated to live in Safe Homes to ensure that there was absolutely no risk of contamination. Many of our children have medical conditions that put them at high risk, so every preventative measure has been taken to ensure their safety.

The dedication of our team is beyond measure, as is your continuous support. We cannot thank you all enough for your generosity.

Together we are doing everything in our power to minimise the impact of this awful pandemic on some of the most marginalised communities.

This is an on-going pandemic and with your continued support we are committed to ensuring that the vulnerable communities where we work are as safe as they can be.
