Social Media Intern

Got a flair for Facebook? Imaginative with Instagram? Tremendous with Twitter?

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Intern to help shape our future online strategy and spread our message to new and existing supporters. You’ll work alongside our fundraising team to create interesting posts and ensure maximum engagement across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a great knowledge of all of the main social media platforms, as training on these platforms will not be provided.

Data & Communications Intern

If you’re passionate about using great imagery and developing content to help shape fundraising efforts throughout the year then this is the perfect role for you!

As a Humanitas Data and Communications Intern, you’ll work alongside our Fundraising team to ensure our donors are always kept up to date with our work.

You will also work to increase our supporter network by using a variety of communication methods, including mail-outs, telephone conversations, and email.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, as data will need to be kept up-to-date, and will have the ability to complete a variety of different tasks simultaneously.

Marketing Intern

We’re a small charity with grand ambitions for changing the lives. As a Humanitas Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in helping us do just that.

You’ll work with us to develop new ways of marketing our charity and ensure the organisations we work with are maximising our partnerships.

Your role will be to develop new ideas and work with existing partners to create brand awareness. You will have the ability to work with your own ideas.

This role will suit an ambitious student currently studying in marketing or someone who has experience in marketing with some hours to spare.

Humanitas Shop Volunteer

The Humanitas charity shop in Hitchin, Herts, is a lively boutique store, looking for keen volunteers to help us sell goods that will directly benefit our projects around the globe.

Whether you are serving customers, pricing stock, or using your artistic ability to dress the shop window, you will be helping us make positive change to the lives of individuals in extreme poverty.

Our volunteers are our greatest asset. You will become part of the Humanitas family and will be invited to all of our local meetings in Hitchin, to see what’s going on, and hear about the progress we are making throughout the year.

Event Volunteers

Humanitas run many exciting events throughout the year, with a little something for everyone in our bid to give a helping hand to humanity.

From white collar boxing, family bike rides, to outrageous skydives, we are always on the look-out for talented volunteers to help make our events a success.

You could be manning a stall at our annual Bucklersbury Day celebrations or taking photos at a campaigning event in Central London. We will have an event to suit you.
