School partnerships

We want to move beyond fundraising and focus on building meaningful connections between pupils here in the UK and at our schools in Ghana. Through our school partnership programme we aim to give children a better understanding of what it is like to live and learn in another country, to feel part of a community thousands of miles away, to explore similarities and differences and embrace another culture.

Through a private educational portal created only for our cultural exchange initiative, we will provide you with a unique opportunity to share your ‘day in the life’ experiences in any way you choose. Some schools have chosen to communicate through songs, music and dancing, or sharing art work. It really is up to you!

This unique platform allows you to connect directly with the children and teachers that you are supporting - they are keen to share their interests, personalities and stories with you and hear yours. We will update this page bi-monthly with lively, unedited videos filmed by our pupils and staff. We hope you enjoy watching them!

PLASTIC POLLUTION WORKSHOPS IN SCHOOLS

We believe that protecting the natural environment is fundamental to effective humanitarian action and to ensure lasting change in the communities where we work. The Bambuu Project run by Tommie and Rebecca delivers ocean plastic pollution workshops in primary schools in the UK, inspiring pupils and teachers to make small changes to protect the environment in their community. They run a range of activities, from assemblies to practical workshops, to encourage schools and pupils to get up and understand the real impact plastic is having on our environment.
