RIDE FOR HUMANITY
On the 21st September 2019, people from around the county will be getting on their bikes for Hitchin based charity, Humanitas, to raise funds to support under-privileged and orphaned children living in Romania and Africa.
Now moving into its 3rd successful year, we have decided to bring the event home to Hitchin. Previously held at Burwash Manor in Cambridge, the cycling capital of England, and enticing over 100 riders from novice young enthusiasts to pro-fitness fanatics, it has proven a hit day out for all.
Take your pick and pedal a leisurely 10 miles, 35 miles or a challenging 75 miles around the beautiful countryside. Our short route is perfect for parents encouraging their kids to jump on their bikes, get outside and inspire a positive family challenge.
This year's event starts and ends at The Priory School in Hitchin, where you can celebrate your achievement with delicious food and refreshments provided.
